Makaela's Bedroom Redux

Allison and Makaela swapped rooms, and we started decorating with Makaela's rainforest room. First the sky ceiling with clouds, then the walls.

Then we started chalking out the characters and trees so that when we painted them, the chalk would be absorbed into the paint and not visable like a pencil drawing would be.

Here is the panda bear chalked and the beginning of the painting.

And the finished panda. We are going to add some leaves that the bear is eating, but that will be later.

Dawn and Makaela start painting the base tree for on one of the walls. This will get leaves, and birds later.

Here is the palm tree behind the door and one of the finished flying macaws.
