Concert in Cedar Rapids

Allison with NewWorldSon. These guys had a unique sound that was fun and really got people excited about the night's concerts.

Kutless took the stage after NewWorldSon. They were very energetic, however, being in the front row, we really only heard the guitar of the guy below. He also only had about 4 "moves" that he did over, and over, and over... Maybe if they had used the regular speaker banks that were hanging front the ceiling, we could have heard the songs, but as it was, this was a fairly unenjoyable part of the night.

Here is that guitarist that had 4 "moves".... Youcan see his amps behind him. That is ALL we heard. No bass, no drums, no vocals, just him. Too bad.

Newsboys were up last. They had these confetti cannons that shot tons and tons of paper into the air. I had to try to get a picture.

Peter. I've got closer pictures, but this is a nice shot of part of the stage. He even "posed" with this big grin for me, but our stupid camera didn't flash, so it was burry.

Jeff on the keys! Jeff also was playing bass via keyboards after Phil left in 2007 for personal reasons.

Paul was a great down to earth guy who talks to the audience about helping others around the world.

Duncan was always blocked in pictures of him playing the drums, so I liked this "shocked" look on his face when I had him sign the drumstick that he broke on stage. He said that he is always so far back from the front of the stage that nobody gets a drumstick.

I've been a big Newsboys fan since I first heard them back when they played small venues and high schools in Dubuque, IA which would be somewhere around 1989.
