We headed out to one of the apple orchards in the area in search for yummy Honeycrisp apples. We found them and they are SOOOO good!

Des Moines Renaissance Faire

We had a lot of fun at the Renaissance Faire this year. It was our first time going, and they just got done (or almost done) with all of the construction. It is sure to be even better next year. If you plan on going, be prepared to spend more money than you think. All of the shows "pass a bucket" for donations and such and it can get a bit pricey.

Talent Show

Allison wow's the croud with her singing and stage presense and wins 1st place in the Labor Day Talent Show. She even gets interviewed by the local newspaper!
