Apple Orchard

Today we went to the apple orchard to pick some yummy apples. Our favorite that we could still pick was the liberty apple. I think that we ate about as many in the orchard as we brought home, which is all part of the fun, although our stomaches were a bit too full of apples when we were done.

Corn Maze

Went to a local corn maze today. This is always good fun. This year, the maze had a map and 6 points that you needed to find. At each stop, you would hole punch your map with the different shaped punch and when you made it through the entire maze, you got a prize. The map made it go a lot faster than the one we went to a couple years ago, but it was still challenging.

Lemondrop Comes Home

In August we added another member to our family. Lemondrop, the Lutino cockatiel. She was a special gift for the girls from Grandma and Grandpa De Meester. Lemondrop has got to be the absolute BEST bird we have even seen. Lemondrop will be a great addition to our family.
